DIRECTOR AND SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
David joined HET in 1993 and is responsible for the smooth running of every client project, from the initial conceptual and design stages right through to completion. David has an eye for detail and is dedicated to ensuring the team maintains the highest standards of service possible. David’s qualifications include BTEC in Architecture and Design as well as being a Member of the Association of Project Managers. Married with three children, David lives in Great Ashby, Stevenage. His hobbies include garden design, travel, swimming and following Formula One racing.
Alan has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, working for local authority projects and private architectural practices before joining HET. Alan approaches every project with the aim to get the best outcome for clients. He specialises in the technical design and planning adaptations to properties which enable elderly and disabled clients to live independently their own homes. Alan is a long-standing member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. Alan is married, lives in Sandy and has two grown-up children. His spare time is devoted to rugby, football, cooking, and gardening.
Steve founded the company in 1989 and he oversees the company’s marketing, alongside keeping up to date on client projects, monitoring and customer satisfaction. Steve lives in Hitchin and is married with five grown up children. He enjoys travelling, most sports, cooking and observing fauna and flora in the local Hertfordshire countryside.
Hannah has a BA Hons degree in Interior Design from London Metropolitan University and a Certificate in Construction Management. She has worked in architecture and surveying since 2006. Hannah is a dedicated and enthusiastic designer who inspires clients to discover creative yet practical solutions to enable them to get the most out of their homes.
Hannah is married with two young children and enjoys nothing more than spending time with her family.
A qualified Chartered Surveyor with a degree in Land Management, Ananda has been involved with the Home Extension Team since 1998. Ananda provides a key role managing business operations and organising administrative functions. This enables the creative and technical team to focus on delivering first class client projects and excellent customer service. Outside work, Ananda supports her local community though involvement with Rotary and enjoys keeping fit, reading and socialising with friends and family as well as travelling to sunnier climes to catch up with family abroad.
Michelle joined the HET team in 2014 and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She thrives on a challenge and loves to help clients find unique solutions - often in ways they wouldn’t have considered or thought possible. Michelle is working on some fantastic new client projects which really demonstrate creative design at its best.
James brings 16 years of experience to managing the HET windows division. Previously employed by two local major Hertfordshire glazing companies, James has extensive knowledge of manufacturing, retailing, fitting and the repair of replacement glazing units. James focuses on finding cost effective solutions for clients, whatever the project. James lives with his partner Catherine, in Stotfold, and his hobbies include travel, exploring the great outdoors and fishing.
Anne joined HET in 1991 and is one of our team of administrators. You’ll find Anne in our Hitchin shop where she is liaises with clients and helps deal with their enquiries quickly and efficiently. Anne is married with two grown up children and lists knitting and baking as her favourite things to do.
Lisa is a part time administrator and has worked for the company for over 5 years. She enjoys the variety in her work and takes great pleasure in dealing with clients. She is married with two teenage children and apart from spending her free time with her family, she also enjoys socialising, Zumba, travel and cooking.
